Its Whitsun Monday.
For once I have not really been doing anything. We have celebrated quite
a lot because our beloved daughter Rosa finished her library school. The
old folks are rather proud of her. Yesterday I gave a slide show for deaf
people a couple of hundreds of kilometres from here. It was a wonderful
experience, but I am somewhat tired today.
Today I tested my one wheeled trailer. I think it's ok. But let's
see what happens with all my stuff on the bike. I worked a little on my
bike today. I was not able to put on the rear carrier because the screws
I had were too short. I'll fix that tomorrow.
I put new cleats on my shoes and put a bell with a built-in compass on
my handlebar. The chain did not work the way I wanted it to.
I'll fix that tomorrow.
Everything will be fixed tomorrow.
I have started lining up all my equipment in my living room. I still need
to have a letter from people in Germany; and maybe from Jaroslav in the
Czech rep. I weighed my camping equipment today and found out that my tent
weighed 1050 gram.
Furthermore I must bring 2 tent-arches, 11 pegs, a ground sheet and a camouflage-sheet
for my tent and bike. Sponsored by "She who must be obeyed".
I have received a member card from the camping association. I have not
too much money. I wonder if this is going to be a trip for cheap skates
once more?
I have bought 6 X 36 slide films.
I have bought 2 tires Panaracer 25 X 700 C and 5 tubes.
Tomorrow I will make my digital camera ready and get some screws for the
carrier.
I'll fix everything tomorow.
