Only 3 days before take off. I simply have too much to take care of. Too many major problems at the job, and also a number of private domestic problems, so all in all this has not been an easy time.

When I finally was able to leave school I roared to the "Flag shop". I managed to get a Danish flag, but it was too big and too expensive. But now I have got it.

Then I drove to the department store where I bought a nail clipper, a soap dish and a can opener.

I put the new tires on the bike, which was a hard job. That was extremely hard to my fingers. I wonder what it will be like to change those tires in heavy rain. I hope they'll last the whole trip.

I found myself a very light sleeping bag. In fact it is as light as 1100 gram. A good thing I am not going to North Cape.

I dug out some spokes in two lengths. The caretaker at our school thought he might have a adjustable spanner I can borrow for the trip. It's a good thing he always keeps his promises.

I have put the 32 MB Memory Stick into my digital camera.

Tomorrow I must get new batteries for my radio and my small torch. I have absolutely no time for serious bicycle riding. I wonder how things will develop.

The weather today has been nice, but somewhat windy.
Tomorrow we are going on a excursion with the school. I have been permitted to ride the 2 X 30 kilometres on my bike. 5 students from the school will ride with me. And they are very nice students. I am sure we will have a great time. We leave Ellidshoej 7:45 tomorrow morning.
