Holstebro to Skjern 57 km. Total 331 km.

Fortunately the weather was better, when I left Holstebro. I had a few showers during the ride, but nothing like the day before.And the ride was extremely scenic. A lot of hills during the ride made it a bit tough. I can ensure you that this part of Denmark is not flat as a pancake as many people think.

In Astrup I met a tramp. Not the one in the picture, but something like that. I had been into a store to buy a soft drink, and when I came out, I saw this man approaching me. He wanted to know about my trailer, because his pram was not good anymore. He told me he had just bought a nice racing bike for 500 kr, so he was more or less ready to connect a trailer. We talked a bit about the trailer and whats good and bad about it.
After a while he aske me, if he could buy me a beer. I said no, but I will buy you one. 
"Then you have to buy one for my friend too. 
I bought a couple of beers and went to the bench where the two men were seated.
We had an interesting thing about many things, which I see no reason to reveal here. But I learned a lot about the life as a tramp.
I enjoyed my talk to these guys. They were so nice and friendly.

I had already made a reservation on a farm 5 km from the city of Skjern. According to the web site the farm was owned by a couple, but since the last update, the husband had passed away, so now the wife took care of everything herself. She was a nice woman, and we had a talk about this and that over a cup of coffee.
I found out she smoked a pipe. Its not often one meets pipe smokers anymore, and especially not an elderly house wife
