Middelfart to Tåsinge: 97 km km. Total 689 km.

In Svendborg I have a very good
friend, Peder, but I was not going to visit him this time.
He was busy working.
Poor Chap.
We return to him, when I do my second round :-)
It was a very long ride. I was not quite sure where I was going to sleep.
I had no appointment and no other very good friends, so my plan was to find a field surrounded by trees, where
I could hide my small tent.
When I finish a day's ride I need to eat and drink. But I prefer to buy my
things as close to my final destination as possible, because even if I only put
2- 3 kilo extra on my trailer, I can feel it.
In a village, Stenstrup, not far from Svendborg I found a place, where I could by
groceries. But I found out it was a gas station. and if ever I want to
experience something scary, I always go to a gas station to check out the
prices.
Its really expensive.
I decided to leave the place and look for an ordinary store. But it was getting
late, so I was not sure I could find one.

From Svendborg there is a bridge to Tåsinge, which is a beautiful island.
Its a nice bridge and there is a wonderful view from up there. The problem is to
get on the bridge. There is a bike lane somewhere, but I can never find it.
Sooner or later I get to the point where a stupid sign informs me that bikes are
not allowed there. The distance from the sign to the bridge is not more than one
km, so finally I did what I have done many times before.
I broke the law and used a road, where I was not supposed to be.
I am bad, I know it very well.
However, I was not
arrested and after a few km on Tåsinge I even found a shop where I could buy my
stuff.
Then I had to look for a camp site.
I am an experienced camp site searcher, and after about 15 km I found the field,
I had been looking for. Its illegal, so first of all I try to find out if anyone
can see me. Then I put up my tent and dry my clothes. Often I have bought a newspaper.
Its not boring as you may think.
I will not say time is flying, but its nice to sit outside the tent and watch
the day go home.
When its gets to dark I get in my tent.
Another day in Paradise.
