Aabenraa to Middelfart:82 km km. Total 592 km.

In Middelfart I have a very good Friend, Bent.
We have known each other for several years. He was in my audience, when I was a "famous" story teller, and he opened his home for me and my friend Frans from South Africa, when we toured Denmark a few years ago.
I had 82 km to cover before I got there, and that's not a short ride for me nowadays.
However, I like to ride in that area, because I pass some cities where I can make stops and prepare my next move: Haderslev, Christiansfeld, Kolding.
In Kolding I was surprised when I realized how steep the hills are, when you ride next to the water. I had to push my bike a few times. Hmmmmm
It was really tough. But of course I managed. It just took me a little longer than in the good old days.
But who cares!
Bent is an excellent cook, and if he ever invites you for dinner you will have a wonderful experience. I think he most of all like the traditional Danish food. For instance "Frikadeller".
So delicious.
We had a very nice day together. We talked, watched TV, used the computer and so on. Bents has a great family, and I think they are getting used to me now. I have been there a number of times :-)
