Vejen to Aabenraa 67 km. Total 510 km.

It was a very nice ride going to Aabenraa. In Aabenraa I have a very good friend Hans J. and I knew that when I got to his place I would have a nice welcome and a shower.
But before I got to his place I had a problem to take care of.
Maybe you remember, if you have read the complete diary, that I bought some very nice shoes in Aars some days before.
The shoes looked nice, but they were not.
They cut my poor feet, and every morning I had to put band aids on my  bleeding wounds.
And I could hardly walk, because it was very painful.
Now I gave up.
In  a second hand shop I bought some very nice sandals, and I was very happy when I finally could throw the nice (stupid) shoes away.
I know I could have done that many days before, but I hate to waste money, so I wanted to give it a try.
It was very nice when I got to Hans J's home.
I had a shower, I could use the washing machine and we had a very nice day.
Hans J.'s girlfriend Joy from the Philippines was there.
She is a very nice girl, and we had met before.
In the evening we had a wonderful dinner. In the good old days when I rode 250 km per day I could eat unlimited and not gain any weight at all.
This day I only did 67 km, but nevertheless I ate unlimited.
And I loved it.
